Orienteering

Orienteering

Students learn basic orienteering skills such as map reading, compass reading, and pacing. They will be split into groups of 5 to 6 as they venture through the campsite. The group learns to make decisions and work together as they navigate from checkpoint to checkpoint and fulfilling tasks at each checkpoint.

Learning Outcomes for Orienteering:

  1. Learn and apply basic navigational skills
  2. Learn team decision making
