Student Exchange & STEM Programs

We are reaching out to potential partners who are interested in student exchange programs with our overseas participants from Shanghai and the region. 

In particular, we are looking for opportunities where foreign students (8 to 12yrs)  can interact with local students through joint participation in STEM programs HA has developed. These are highly engaging activities that have strong learning outcomes for both sides. 

This can be in the form of a simple 2-hour training session where overseas students get to practice English and local students Mandarin. We can offer the program to your students in exchange for their time and effort in hosting our students.

Drone Challenge: Is an aerodynamics and flight course that builds confidence and creativity. Its is a highly engaging program that is both fun and cool. 

Design Thinking Via Archery: A course in materials science, participants learn how to fashion their very own bow and optimize paper arrow designs. A challenging course that prompts students to think and solve problems.  

Digital Orienteering: Navigation and self-management is a critical tool and participants can learn how to work together to orientate and guide each other through scenic locations in Singapore. 

Night Race: This course incorporates both mechanics and microcontroller programming in what is essentially a race track development program. Great for inter-team collaboration and design thinking.
