Batam Brompton Cycling Tour April and May Slots Available

Welcome to the beautiful island of Batam ! Known for its delicious food, friendly people, and charming natural landscapes, Batam is a great get away destination within 30 mins from Tanah Merah Ferry terminal. If you love cycling, you'll be in for a treat as we take you on a journey through three of Batam's most scenic biking routes. 

The tour starts from the Montigo Resort a five star award winning hotel that offers private sea views , from which to start your cycling journey. From Montigo you will be transferred to the start points of various routes which we have meticulously selected.

Ride 1

The first ride is a 25km ride from Montigo resorts around the Nongsa area. The route offers slope challenges on nice newly refurbished roads. Cycling alongside various golf courses and enjoy shady canopy’s. 

Ride 2 

The Barelang Bridge is a chain of 6 bridges of various types that connect the Barelang island group of Riau Archipelago built in 1997. The smaller islands of Tonton, Nipah, and Setotok connect Batam and Rempang, while a further small island - Galang Baru - is connected at the southern end of the chain. The entire route is over 70km long. 

Ride 3

This is a circuit based ride which simulates a velodrome with a 2km circuit per round . After completing 6 rounds you can then explore the Panbil nature reserve with its friendly animals and get up close to nature. A sanctuary for flora and fauna endemic in Riau, like the Pelawan tree. Nestled within the Riau Archipelago

The 3 cycling trails planned over the course of this tour will take you through 80 km of road ways are smooth, scenic and cooling to ride in the mornings and afternoons. Escape from the hustle and bustle of Singapore and be transported to a tranquil relaxing environment, relax your mind and enjoy picturesque views.
